Assalaamu AlaykumrnrnI have received the wonderful DVD set of Umar (RA) by Anwar Awlaqi today.rnrnI must say, I have never seen any other box set as
beautifully presented as this boxed set. The attention to detail and wonderful images and designs on the presentation of the boxed set, as well as the
actual DVD's is immaculate.rnrnThe extras, as well as all of the lectures are fantastic Mashallah.rnrnInitially I was expecting the video quality to
be crystal clear like on normal DVD's, however the original recording was done about 10 years ago and technology was not as good then either. The
quality is very adequate and watchable. rnrnThe first DVD has a very impressive feature to show the 'Before' and 'After' look effect of the video.
This changed my whole perception about my initial expectations. I forgot that this was recorded 10 years ago and didn't take that into account.
However, once you watch this 'extras' feature then it took away all of my doubts about the video quality. The producers have made a vast improvement
on the original quality of the video and I am very happy with the end product, Alhamdullilah.rnrnMay Allah (T) reward all of the brothers and sisters
who helped out in making this wonderful boxed set. I am very grateful that there are brothers and sisters who make so much effort for the
deen.rnrnJazak Allah Khair for everything. I make dua that Allah (T) gives you the means to digitally master the rest of Anwar Awlaqi sets, including
the sets on Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and Abu Bakr (RA). Ameen.rnrnI request all brothers and sisters to purchase this excellent boxed set, it is worth
every penny Mashallah!
